>> Matthew tapped the top of his pencil onto the worn table, somewhere beside a blue spot that looked rather inappropriately shaped, and to the left of the graffiti that clearly said 'FUCK Y0U'. They had the little dash in the zero and everything, and he'd stared at it for a long while like the number in the mess of letters had some sort of meaning, something beyond him and his twenty some years. It had distracted him long enough the minute hand turned over twice, and upon that realization, the Canadian was positive this day wouldn't be going anywhere all that fast. The grey eyed blond stretched under the table, pumping the rubber tips of his shoes against the chair leg across from him. He couldn't remember the last time he did anything artsy beyond Highschool, painting the smoker walls in his apartment not included. Shrugging his sweatshirt so it didn't hang so stiffly off of his shoulder, he pressed the pencil back into the paper, staring blankly as he chicken scratched out a lopsided circle. Why was he here? Matthew erased it carefully, considering just packing up his stuff and handing the paper back into the lady at the desk. He didn't get these kind of places. He didn't have an appointment to deal with for four more hours, so maybe it half made sense, but he was re-thinking the whole 'open workshop for aspiring people, just draw a little something about you we can hang on our wall!' crap. The walls were at least colorful though, the splatter work looking a lot more graceful than his kitchen walls at home, and he sighed, relaxing himself back into the wooden bench. He'd left a line behind, a shred of the eraser left next to it, so he brushed it away and picked it up again, continuing the mark this time in a more linear fashion. Linda used to love his indecisive drawings. If only she realized that was sort of all of him. The indecisive part. Sitting alone yet, he brought the shape back down, pausing only long enough to find a new spot to nibble on his lip. Matthew couldn't remember the last time he talked to any of those people, most of them because he just slipped off the radar, the last quarter because he busted their face while playing hockey and kind of set that boy grudge that's two thirds admiration and one third you are kind of scary, bro. He didn't care about that first group, but a hockey game sounded fantastic right about now. The secretary lifted his hand away from the paper, clearing it gently with the palm of his hand. It smudged a bit, but he liked it as it made his lines a lot less shaky and bit more whimsical. It was only half a tree, just the trunk actually, a giant stereotypical knot in the middle, but he liked it. He could roll with it. Working airily, Matthew allowed the world around him to move at it's own pace, the reminder already set on his phone for when he needed to bolt.[/blockquote]

Stars glimmered overhead as one rather excited little Italian chirped his merry way along the busy streets of Toronto. Cars honked in the distance, lights flashed and the all-around beauty of a city in the evening swamped the brunette’s senses as he walked along excitedly, pausing every so often to take a strategically random picture that held some form of artistic interest for the young painter. Toronto was such a beautiful city, albeit very architecturally different from what he was used to back home in Italy. This was the precise reason in all actuality that Feliciano had picked Canada of all countries to spend his fall break: in order to get a new feel for his upcoming semester project. He had only a few days here and was determined, as best he could, to photograph everything so that back home he would have enough of a reference point to help in re-creating the blueprints and half a painting of the Skydome for his project. The surrounding area was just as important though in order to set the feel of the city and so Feliciano allowed himself a bit of leeway in photographing, literally, everything.
As he was strolling along, the eager young student came upon a row of shops and restaurants lining the street along which he was walking. He didn’t quite know which direction he was supposed to be going in order to reach the Skydome, or even if it was within walking distance but he figured no matter where he ended up, there must be a bus back to his hotel right? He could always visit the dome in the morning; there were a few days left before departure. As he approached the brightly lit shops and such, the brunette took a few pictures of the horizon in the distance and what he could of a rather abstractly photographed skyline. He was just coming upon a rather small obscure little place when something inside caught his eye. Intrigued, the Italian recognized a few paintings upon the walls and decided to take a peek inside, maybe use the bathroom?
A bell sounded as the door opened and a young woman at a desk across the room looked up to smile. “Welcome!” she called cheerfully. Feliciano grinned brightly and waved calling back a rather eager little “Ciao,” in response before looking around what seemed to be a small studio. There was only one other person present and he looked to be concentrating hard on whatever it was placed on the tabletop before him. Feli grinned and walked over to peek across the other man’s shoulder ever so subtly as he passed by. With him he carried an art bag slung about his torso with many half sketches, pencils and random nonsense sticking out at all angles messily behind the flap, a flap which- as he passed the young man’s desk- decided to give way slightly. Feli’s eyes widened and he reached out to grab the flap and slam it shut before it could scatter any haphazardly strewn or stuck papers that it had been containing only by mere coincidence. In the process he nearly dropped his camera but he did manage to keep a hold of both and decided to set his things down across the table from the other man. He laughed to himself and hummed a little hum as he set his things down. Then, shrugging out of one of the many layers he had on under his scarf and bag and such, he slipped the coat onto the back of a chair and grinned broadly, turning to the other man.
“Ah!” he exclaimed cheerfully. “Hiya! I’m Feliciano Vargas!” He thrust his hand out to shake and didn’t think twice about how randomly out-of-nowhere his introduction was to the poor man. Why would he? It would be rude not to say hello, right?

>> He was stuck somewhere between drawing a squirrel or a Macaw (they're pretty birds, even if they had no business being in a Sugar Maple) in his smudged tree, his breathing falling evenly as he got into the drawing. It really wasn't all that professional, but it had become relaxing somewhere along the way, the artifical lighting above his head blocking out his stressful day planner stuffed in his bag at his feet. The blond had heard the door open, then the faithful chime followed by the desk lady's greeting, but he didn't glance up from behind his glasses. Idly, he was pondering Hockey games and old High school teachers, and the Canadian was sketching in the oblong beak when the table rattled. Manly as he could manage, he practically shrieked before catching it as a half sob in his throat, turning into a short and painful cough. His bangs fluttered as his head snapped up, mouth slightly parted in his disheveled look, but he smiled with politeness despite being completely shocked out of his little trance. That kind of was a lot of stuff there. With even the smallest pass over he could tell the papers wanted to escape and he watched the other man (boy?) set down a camera as well, his pencil still stiff in his hand as he observed. The other artist looked like a tourist of some sort, otherwise some fashion trendy hipster as Matthew felt under dressed just looking at his pile of clothing. Maybe it was the native feel no cold thing. Absently, he adjusted his sweatshirt in response. Keeping prone to his habits of retaining things to himself, he hadn't intending on really introducing himself or even exchanging more than a glance until the other's hand was suddenly above his paper, the shadow of his palm falling across the half sketched leaves. " Ah, Hi," he answered after a moment, faltering to find his voice again. So much for working on not being totally awkward. " Matthew Williams," the blond continued with a tad more confidence, folding his arms across the table. Quickly he flicked his grey eyes over his work and then up at Feliciano as if there was something confidential hidden over his half finished tree, but he managed to smile again. " Ah, sorry, is this your spot or something? I don't come here often, at all, so I just sort of sat down," he explained briefly, running his hand across the table top and clearing his eraser bits and lead shavings. [/blockquote]

Feliciano’s eyes glittered with interest as he watched the other jump a little at his arrival. The blonde was rather interesting if the little brunette cared to take a second glance. He had glasses but behind them very uniquely colored irises gazed out at the world viewing them through a lens all their own. It was an odd shade too, despite perhaps all the Italian had seen, but still none the less very much appealing in a rather different sense than any Feli was used to. He was soon snapped out of this observation though as the young man spoke a quiet hello and crossed his arms to hide his paper. For a moment the Italian didn’t know what to do with his hand so he just casually dropped it, the tiniest of bits hurt that his greeting had been so quickly rebutted. He should have been used to it perhaps, but in truth it never felt any better, even from a stranger. Luckily enough, any slight trace of a downcast emotion soon vanished as the other managed a smile and Feli’s eyes widened again, a broad grin stretching across his face. A beautiful smile this young man had. Huh.
“This is my first time here,” he replied offhandedly dismissing the suggestion. “Hey! D’you wanna help me with something though?!” He exclaimed eagerly. With a rather less than forceful but still exceedingly energetic whack of his hands to the tabletop, Feliciano leaned in towards Matthew excitedly. “I have a project and I need to take lots of pictures for it! I don’t actually know at all where I am! If you help me I promise I’ll make you a nice big bowl of pasta as thank you! Please come help me!” he rambled on a bit but finally came full circle and continued ginning down at the hopefully not yet overwhelmed Canadian. “It’s also getting kind-of-a dark out and I don’t know where I’m going.” He paused to think. “I guessssssss I could call Lud’vig but I don’t know if my phone can call all the way to Germany from here…” he shook his head after a moments pondering. “No, doitsu would be mad I think.” He whined a little and slumped down into a chair.
“He always gets mad about things. I gave him a white flag one time because I thought it would help him but he got really angry.” Feli made a face. “Another time too, I gave him a present but he always acts so strange! Veh, doitsu is so confusing sometimes! What would you do if I gave you a rose to welcome you for a visit? You would smile and accept it like everyone else in my country! No, Ludwig got all quiet and strange, I don’t understand!” he whined again. In all truth, Feliciano still couldn’t understand why Ludwig got so strange sometimes about silly little things that most people he knew didn’t think twice about. This person would more than likely agree so he was a great companion to take along for photo’s right? Never because he might actually be fun to look at. Nope, not at all~
[pft, fail ending is fail, I’m falling asleep at the keyboard XD~ Feli denies right off the bat through his oblivion that he likes how Mattie lookas though~ >w> <3]

>> Matthew's nerves spoke for him, smiling a bit awkwardly as the newcomer launched himself forward into conversation without any more prompting. The more Feliciano spoke, the more the Canadian confirmed he wasn't from around here and most likely, not from the southern neighbor either. He most likely should have been referring to the states as 'home', but as long as he was still here in Toronto, he was upholding his lineage. The other's hand clapping down onto the table caught his attention again. He didn't know how to respond - he hadn't exactly sat down in hopes of becoming some strangers tour guide and the blond was still trying to form a response as the Italian shifted into an animated speech about his German friend. The photographer was looking at him with such intent for a response, and he felt as if some sort of spotlight had appeared, centered solely on him. Awkward, especially since he'd only gone on to make the question rhetorical in his story. And it was about white flags. And roses. " Uh, I'm sorry your friend didn't accept your gift. Germany's kinda different than here though and I don't know him, so uh, I can't help you with that part at least." Idly, he wondered if that meant this boy was German too, but for some reason, he sort of doubted that. Feeling small, Feliciano's energy practically engulfing his, Matthew curled his hands into his sleeves, picking at the red fuzz that lined the cuffs. This boy was kinda really animated. " Where are you trying to get to? I have family around here and know this area well. It'd be a shame for you fail your project," the secretary asked for the sake of possibly being able to give him directions, speaking the truth. He was a lot softer and a lot slower than Felicinao's high speed pace, and he licked his dry lips after finishing, the heat of the spot light drying out his mouth spectacularly. " I could get you directions to there, no pasta needed. D-Don't worry about that part. Or, if you don't know where, I could tell you some nicer places to shoot here at night?" Feliciano had really looked heart broken there at the end of his speech, so he tried his best to make him happy, not really able to handle the disappointed face much longer on him.[/blockquote]

Half-listening to the boy before him, Feli looked around the room again and thought about how he was going to take his pictures. He didn’t know where to go or what to do or anything really, his brain just tending to skip around. When the other spoke though, the little Italian glanced back and shrugged. He knew better than to expect anyone to be able to fix doitsu, so he wasn’t worried about it. The boy continued on though and after each word Feli could feel his own eagerness diminishing until finally all he had left was the look of a kicked puppy on his face and an almost echoing emptiness inside.
“Y-you don’t want any of my pasta?” he asked, considerably dejected. Of course that was the most important part of the whole speech as Feliciano felt his heart crack in two and begin to wither away as he looked upon this stranger again, in a different light. What kind of person didn’t want any of his pasta? Maybe he was just deprived. Anyone who tried it would love it! Or… maybe there was something else.
Looking back at the blonde before him, the little Italian wondered momentarily why he was being so quiet just in general. Had… had he scared the other? Feli paused to think. … … …OH NO! HE HAD HADN’T HE! Feliciano blinked quickly and suddenly jumped up knocking his chair to the ground.
“Are you always this quiet or do I scare you?” he exclaimed. A bit blunt, he would admit to that but what other way was there to say what he was trying to say? He didn’t want to scare his possibly-maybe-just-a-little-more-than-intriguing-new friend! Rocking on his heels and chewing his lip anxiously, Feli shoved his hands deep into his pockets and rummaged around for something. It took a moment or so before he finally found what he was looking for and then--
“HA! Here! This is for you!”

>> Whoa. Okay. Apparently the pasta was a bit more than a nice gestured bribe to get him to be Feliciano's tour guide. Matthew bawked, raising his hands a couple inches in apology. " S-sorry, no, I didn't mean it like that!" but it was already too late, the gears in the other's head clearly turning before he could take the words back. He sort of looked like he was going through stages of shock. Or something. The blond cringed when the chair hit the floor, only in fear that chair would be damaged, already somehow adjusted to the Italian's high energy - he'd practically seen the spring in the photographer compress seconds before he exploded upwards. The Canadian glanced over to the lady at the door, but he was drawn back as the bouncy brunette pushed something under his nose with thin, art nimble fingers. He had to blink twice in order to get it into focus, his hand in an awkward spot where his vision and glasses didn't quiet meld, but he accepted in into his palm. It was one of those bobble head turtles, the cranium on a long tooth pick dangling from a string, it's hollow body encompassed in various colors of paint. Matthew placed it on the table on the corner of his smudged paper, scooting back the slightest so he wasn't hovering over it as it's head waggled up and down. " No, sorry, I'm just kind of like this... but thank you," he answered after a moment, staring a bit blankly for a moment with bright monochrome eyes. He tried to look really enamored with it - and in the spur of the moment pace it was, it was kind of true - just so he wouldn't upset Feliciano, but he smiled sincerely once he got his bearings back again.[/blockquote]

Holding out the little turtle with a few mismatched paint splatters, Feliciano hoped um… what was his name again? Matthew? He hoped Matthew would like it. It was just a little something he’d brought with him from Italy. He’d found it along one of the carts belonging to a vendor in Rome the evening before his flight when he was staying with Zia Gina. He’d accidentally almost dropped it in his painting palette and splattered the top but, deciding it looked funny, he’d decided to paint the sides a little and give it a more abstract feel. It was cute and he hadn’t meant to mess it up so he’d brought it with him. Now it was Matthew's!
“I hope you like it! I painted it myself,” he added, shoving his hands back in his pockets. Plopping back down into his seat, Feli grinned and watched, quieted by how Matthew seemed to accept the gift. He was pleased that the Canadian seemed to like the tiny thing and for a moment the brunette relaxed. He felt a grin sneak across his lips as he watched the other admire the turtle almost as if unsure what to say. A quiet giggle escaped and before Feli knew it, he felt a laugh bubbling up. Popping back up out of his seat, Feli grabbed his bag and reached for Mathew’s hand.
“C’mon Mattie!” he exclaimed. Mattie was much easier to say than Matthew. Silly long name it was, but nice none the less. Tugging ever so gently on other’s hand with both of his own, the little Italian implored quietly that the Canadian up and follow him. He wanted to take his pictures but he didn’t want to leave his new friend behind either!

>> " It's... unique," Matthew fished, but he was still smiling and speaking genuinely, his hod bobbing the slightest with it's movements. It'd look nice on his desk once he got back to New York, he thought, granted he still had a job by that point. He glanced back up at Feliciano, grinning a little broader himself as the brunet looked down at him with such an equally pleased expression. He blinked, licking his lips again as the Italian extended a hand over the table to him. The blond made a small sound that sounded like hesitation, but he gathered his own bag from where it was tangled under his foot, smoothing out his crumpled paper and putting it away neatly between the portfolios in his messenger. He supposed this meant he was his tour guide now? That, or, Feliciano was a rather intelligent kidnapper. He gave the other his hand, a clear look of confusion still stuck on his face. " U-Uhm, does this mean you've decided where you want to go then?" He was going to add some name, much like the other did when the other addressed him but he was a tad too bewildered at this point. Instinctively he checked for his phone in his pocket as he was lead out the door, the lady chiming happily at the two of them, clearly not alarmed in anyway. The cold air nipped at his face and he tucked in his chin, trying not to tangle his feet as his panic kicked in. Okay, this kinda still was really, really awkward. Craning his head slightly, letting Feliciano lead, Matthew unbuckled his bag and dug inside, coming up with his pair of mittens. He didn't really intend to lose his fingers, and how much would that suck if he ended up with frost bite while locked in a dark room somewhere? He shrugged one onto his free hand, pausing with the other one dangling to his occupied hand, the Italian's thin fingers already keeping it particularly warm. " If you're going to be taking pictures outside, you really should find some mittens to go with everything else you're wearing..." the Williams boy practically mumbled, tilting his head to the side the slightest, practically wincing. He still thought the scarf over overkill in this weather.[/blockquote]

Feliciano grinned broadly as he managed to lure Mattie out of his seat. Giggling, he shrugged. “Umm, I’m sure I’ll find something exciting for my project to take pictures of.” He replied, not really thinking about perhaps how suspicious an answer that might have been. He was just rather excited to finally be able to go and take his pictures and take along a great new friend! That was more than enough to set Feliciano in high spirits for the remainder of the trip.
As the two stepped outside into the biting cold once more, Feli refused to let go of Mattie’s hand as he pulled the blonde Canadian along. It was true, the air was rather chilly as it nipped the tip of the little Italian’s nose but he paid it no mind as he rather began to wander aimlessly along the brightly lit street. The clouds overhead seemed to have blocked out the stars by now and idly the thought crossed Feliciano’s mind concerning the possibility of snow. Did it snow here? It ought to snow here, it was cold enough. He felt a slight shift as Mattie dug around for something but seeing as the other never pulled back from the eager one’s hand, Feli took it as no sign of distress and instead continued on even as the blonde spoke. He merely shrugged in response.
“Veh, it doesn’t matter. My hands are fine!” he chirped nonchalantly. “My camera gets really warm sometimes, so I’ll be fine!” he grinned again. Feliciano wasn’t one to really think in terms of the long run so for that moment he really was fine. His own free hand was bouncing around ahead as he tried to keep balance with the Canadian in tow. The fact that he really had nowhere to go didn’t seem to distress the small one at all.

>> Matthew would have called him out over holding his hand over his camera then if it's so warm, but he was after all a Matthew and just couldn't do that. Not to Feliciano, at least, not when his potential kidnapper was in such good spirits and seemed like a decent person. Just tightly strung. He crumbled his right mitten into his other hand, treating it like some sort of stress ball for a moment. " What about... the market?" he asked, licking his chapped lips for the hundredth time. It was sort of a natural setting. Plus it was indoors. With a lot of people around. Good for taking pictures, or calling for cops. He really didn't even know more about the brunette than his education in arts, apparently, and his name. So, venturing softly as they continued their gait down the sidewalk, he asked the other boy curiously " Where did you say you were from again?" It came out a bit pitched, mostly cute and small sounding like some sort of trapped mouse, but that was probably a perfect analogy for his situation. He shifted inside his sweatshirt, transferring his actions into biting at his lower lip.[/blockquote]

Feliciano continued on aimlessly as his mind floated about in the clouds above. It was admittedly getting chillier out as Feli navigated his eager way through various, more crowded sidewalks. He still couldn’t believe he’d managed to actually come all the way here and thus far, though he hadn’t yet gotten to the tower for pictures, make a friend so quickly-- one that didn’t run or give him funny looks. In truth, he was used to being lost in crowds and having that eager feeling in his stomach that he would see someone he recognized but more often than not, when he did- they often turned in the other direction. The little Italian didn’t know what it was about some of these North American continent dwelling friends of his but they had strange habits.
As he emerged from a rather large crowd of people with Mattie in tow, the Italian looked right and left before crossing a side street and pausing along the adjacent sidewalk in front of a popular looking restaurant. He peeking inside and was almost distracted by all the details that made up such a society for restaurants had always held some sort of allure for the young little one, his own inclination towards food aside. Maybe it was due to the fact that everyone was sitting down, absorbed in their own conversations or activates that made him feel like a part of something bigger, something… social.
As he stood quietly, entranced, the boy looked out across the people sitting and watched them in a serene silence. He had always enjoyed people watching as opposed to being watched. It was fun to wonder about where everyone was going, what their busy lives had in store for them as well as deciphering what their clothes and various possessions said about them.
For example, one man sitting not too far away had a newspaper in one hand and a drink in the other. The drink was from one of those unhealthy chains and his suit was of a cheap material not quite up to the highest standards. From these observations Feli could assume either the man was at a time in his life where he was in need of a boost or, he was just on the poorer end of the stick, per say. (How he could afford the restaurant, Feliciano wasn’t sure.)
Another person, a woman this time, sat slightly farther away but in a similar state. She was younger, this woman, and she was surrounded by a lot of bags from various more expensive stores he’d heard about back home. This one seemed to be dealing with her own issues via the typical ‘shop-a-holic’ syndrome he’d seen in a lot of women recently. How did he come to the conclusion? Well for one, the woman took very little care of her bills as her bulging pocketbook would explain, peeking out of her purse. Secondly, the receipts all laid out before her had been pushed aside to be replaced by a heart-healthy salad from the still open vegetarian menu beside her. She worried about her figure and would do anything to maintain it, the grimace on her face towards the lettuce might explain that and she--
“What about… the market?” Feli nearly jumped out of his skin as Mattie spoke.
“Veh?” he inquired. “The market place is not nearly as interesting as other places, we have those back home and I have a lot of pictures of that already.” he replied, dismissing any thoughts that perhaps a Canadian marketplace varied largely from an Italian one. He was quiet a moment, coming out of his reveries, and paused to study the blonde’s face. As Matthew spoke again, Feliciano couldn’t help but laugh in a bubbly manner. “You sound like a baby ghiro,” he giggled. “I am from Italy! The country of the best pasta, pizza and mozzarella you will ever have!” he exclaimed. The excitement within the small brunette easily hyped up past the normal, calm range of his meter as he spoke of his own country. “We are also considered a country of love, much like Spagna and Francia. Amiamo tutti nostri vicini in Italia~ ” he added with a broad grin.

>> He braced himself against the crowd, pulling his shoulders tight as Feliciano led him around. Matthew wasn't so sure he'd make his appointment at this rate anymore, but from what he figured, his job was pretty much already out the window. He'd send a basket on his boss' behalf once morning rolled around, the card promptly explaining how negligent his assistant was. In Matthew's own writing. Through his glasses he watched the Italian become enamored with people watching through the window, flicking his gaze from the brunette's face and past the glass' reflection. Maybe Feliciano had a kink for people or something. It'd explain a lot. " Italy?" he echoed in slight awe, the snow flakes that were starting to fall around them almost dampening his words like a weightless cushion. That was true though, an Italian market had to be a lot more interesting than the indoor ones around here in Canada, it was rough sometimes trying to have outdoor ones when the weather never made up it's mind. Matt's Italian really wasn't up to par, so he stared with relative curiosity in his near blank expression, the tone of the Photographer's words leading him to believe the foreign words to only be positive. The grey eyed assistant had no words about the whole country of love thing as that was kind of awkward to be discussing, especially when they were still loitering in a restaurant door way. He realized he was still kind of staring, slack jawed and very much stunned like a ghiro, so he rid of it with a soft swallow before pointing to the door of the business. " That's really, uh, cool. I've been to Japan once and France a couple of times, but that's really it. I grew up between here and the States," he explained, mostly feeling obligated to compete with the other male's jumble of sentences he always spoke in. " Uhm, I don't think the food here will be as on par as Italia, but you wan't some?" He paused, his gloved hand going to his bag strap. " Or something?" Matthew's voice gave a little curious squeak at the end, like a perfect punctuation, but he coughed quickly to clear it, shaking his head a tad in embarrassment. He figured, since Feliciano had so intently been staring inwards, it was at least a start. And hadn't he said something about Pasta before as well? He was pretty sure everywhere served pasta. If he didn't care to eat, maybe he could do some more of that bright eyed people watching he was tranced into before.[/blockquote]

Feliciano continued to gaze inwards utterly entranced until he finally felt himself drawn back to Earth by his partner’s words. Japan? France? The little one almost squee-d.
“I have a friend from Japan!” he exclaimed, rounding on the Canadian. “He is so very quiet but very nice! Veh, he’s the one who taught me so many things about different types of paper… I think. Or maybe that was someone else. But Kiku, is so much fun and he’s kind of-a weird too.” Feliciano grinned broadly. There was only so much he really knew to say in order to illustrate his old friend to this new one but the little Italian’s heart swelled at the thought of one of his best friends. If he were ever to have a chance to introduce them, he would! Kiku and Mattie seemed just like they could get along really well! With that pleasant though, the Italian made a note to try and bring them together. Some day perhaps.
The gears in Feli’s head rolled and his mind switched to food. Hum, the food was never good anywhere else than at home really, but the Italian had learned to adapt… some. He didn’t really care to eat at that moment though and shrugged merely as Matthew suggested they enter. Perhaps the little blonde was hungry? Feli wondered. His squeaks were still enough to make the brunette smile giddily and he laughed, scrunching up his nose as he turned towards Mattie. That little squeak just made him want to squeeze the other to death and on impulse, Feliciano reached out and clung to his arm like a toddler. “I’m not hungry but if you want to eat we can.” he suggested, a broad, happy grin stretched across his delicate features.

>> Matthew paused, just nodding slightly as Feliciano talked, bobbing his head along with every other word. That name sounded really familiar, but that had to be similar to how there had to be at least a thousand other Matthews in the States and it was most likely the same for Kiku in Japan. It didn't surprise him though that the Italian had more out of country friends as it'd most likely be absurd if he didn't. And the whole paper thing seemed rather fitting. It was all quirky, so it all worked in stride. " That's, uh, really cool, Feliciano. He sounds awesome." He tried not to react and crawl out of his skin when the brunette clung to his arm, but it was mostly because he was slowly warming up to his new, highly energetic kidnapper. " No, if you're not hungry, it's all good. I can get something to go then maybe and can eat while you, uh, take some pictures or whatever," the blond suggested, not really knowing what to say. Sitting there eating while Feliciano just sat there staring at him from the other side of the table seemed a bit more awkward than their current situation at the moment. That's right, they still hadn't even figured out where he was guiding the other to, which had prompted all this in the first place. Tucking his elbow closer to himself to press Feliciano's hands a little further into the padding of his jacket (it really was cold out, he couldn't figure out how the skinny photographer was bearing it), he lead them into the restaurant regardless, take out or not. A few of the guests closer to the door lifted their heads, inspecting the odd duo with nothing more than a glance over and a swift grunt to close the door. On the counter was the large newspaper rack, the countless home pamphlets and supermarket coupon books. The Humane society ran an issue this time of year and Matthew picked it up with half interest, studying the various pictures on the cover. " You said you needed lots of pictures for your project, right, Feliciano? Are you going to do a collage of some kind?" he inquired, his voice almost lost in the soft chatter around them alone as he waited for the waitress to return to the counter. [/blockquote]
